Be warned -- it's a gushing post...
Tonight will be my sixth and final trip to Fleet Street. I saw it last night as well and still marvel at how good this show is. I noticed so many little things -- the sniffles, Toby singing along with the other characters, Judge Turpin's reading of the Bible, Johanna's scared heavy breathing while hiding behind her cello, Sweeney's shrugging of the shoulder at Mrs. Lovett's kiss at the end of "By The Sea" -- he looks like a reluctant 8-year-old being forced to kiss a not-so-favorite aunt.
I could probably see it six more times and find even more little details that were lost in the first viewings. For such a "simple" production, it is complex.
I'm sure another show will open that will capture my attention, but this run of Sweeney has certainly been a favorite.
Go see one of the final 12 shows!

I so wish I could go see it again, but unfortunately I don't think I'll get a chance. Have fun though! I really enjoyed this show and I'm glad I got to see it before it closes.

This is a show that will be sadly missed. I have never seen a show like it before. Everything about it is AWESOME!
Trying to get there at LEAST one more time...
