School Musical?

The chorus teacher recently gave us hints on what the school musical would be, it is not officially announced until September, but I was wondering if there was a show like this I've never heard of.
She said it was 2 acts, with different characters in each act.
In act 1 the leads in act 2 are ensemble, and vice versa.
She also said it was 5 guys and 3 girls, with big parts?
Any idea?
She also said at the Beginning we wouldn't "understand" it, but we'll love it.
Any ideas?

Children of Eden was the first one to come to mind here as well, but it doesn't really fit the "ensemble become leads" idea. It sounds intriguing though, keep us updated, and break a leg!

If different actors play the Act 2 parts, then the "ensemble becomes leads" fits. But then that doesn't fit the "5 guys, 3 girls" part.

Still agree that it's Children of Eden
