School of Rock Rush

Sorry if this post exists, as I am having trouble finding it. How early do you think I should get there for School of Rock Rush on the weekend? Does anyone know where seats are and if it depends where you are in line for what seats you get? Thanks for any advice!

I'm not sure about the ticket location, but I know it could get very long. In one of Alex's broadway vlogs he showed the line and it was pretty long and it was on a Sunday

I went on a Sunday a few weeks ago. I got there around 9 and was 5th. The box office opens at noon Sunday's and by 10 the line went around the corner. Seats are scattered. I was front row far left and during the scenes my view was blocked at times during the classroom scenes, but for the price it was fine and I enjoyed the show a lot.

thinkoflaura, RUSH refers most often to tickets that are purchased on the same day as a performance, usually at a very high discount off the regular price. Rush can be student rush (usually for students only) or general rush, which means that anyone can purchase these tickets. Some shows also offer senior rush for patrons at least 62 or 65 years old. They're basically tickets that the box office can afford to "rush" out of their system without compromising sales.

I don't think I've ever seen a Broadway theater offering a "senior rush."  Do even any Off-Broadway theaters offer that?  All I've ever seen is either "student" or "general" rush.

Shakespeare In The Park has senior tickets, I think? Like, a separate line where you don't have to show up quite as early as for the normal ticket line. That's the only I'm aware off.

We went last night. Got to the box office around 5:30 and asked for rush. We got second row center mezz on the aisle, tickets that are normally $99. It was a great deal and an excellent view. The show wasn't the best thing ever but very fun and followed the movie very closely.
