Just saw a high school perform this in a state competition. BEAUTIFUL. Made me cry. Never heard of the play before. New? Well known?

Shame, though. They were disqualified because they ran 15 seconds over.

This is a wonderful play! I saw a production a couple of years ago, and cried and cried and cried. Of course, one of my oldest and best friends had just moved away a few months before, I had just broken up with my boyfriend that week, AND it was only about a month after September 11th. But yes, it's a great show, and a great opportunity for young male actors!

Hi I was actually from the school that did that performance at state. I ran sound for that exact same show. It was sad the we got disqualified but we did put on a damn good show. The guy playing Scooter is one of my best friends.
