Seating at "The Little Mermaid" (Lunt-Fontanne Theatre)
#1Seating at "The Little Mermaid" (Lunt-Fontanne Theatre)

I just got back from NYC. I had been planning this trip some October. My plan was to see a show every single day I was there (and two on matinee days). I figured I could get most of my tickets day-of through lottos, rushes, TKTS but wanted to make sure that I definitely had tickets for Young Frankenstein and The Little Mermaid. I also wanted to make sure that I had good seats so I bought tickets for Row BB for both shows because I had assumed that the seating at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre was like most theatres and the seating chart on TicketMaster showed the seat as 2nd from the stage. Well, guess what? They're not. The way that the seats set up, Rows AA, BB, and CC are at the last 3 rows. I was in the 2nd row from the back. And because of the balcony, I couldn't see the top part of the stage. That really f*cking pissed me off. I talked to one of the ushers and they said that a lot of other people were saying the same thing.
Now, I just checked the seating chart on the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre's website and it shows Rows AA, BB, CC as being the last 3 but that's not how it was displayed on TicketMaster (and why would I have any reason to doubt TicketMaster?).
Has anyone else any similar experiences? Or is it just me?
