I'll go to NY next week and I've bought a ticket to Follies.
My chosen seat was K121, Center Seating, Orchestra.
But unfortunately I'll have an appointment that day and I need to exchange my ticket.
They are offering me A4, orchestra. How bad is that ticket?

Posted: 11/8/11 at 12:12pmI haven't seen follies yet but from my experience of seeing other shows at the Marquis I think front row might be a little too close. I'd try to get something back a little farther if possible. Your original seat would have be perfect. It's tough though cause you can't be too picky since you are doing an exchange.

A4 would be a good seat and I would grab it. You will be on the right hand side (audience right). There are some issues from the right with the staircase but I think since you are so close to the center aisle, that issues will be minor if anything. Further over in the row, might be a different story.
Do not accept any seats on audience left (A1, A3, etc.). You will have Bernadette blocked by Ron Raines for major portions of two songs.
Front row at the Marquis is fine and an experience in itself. The stage is not high and with the pit open, you have the distance of the width of the pit between you and the performers.

Close is great to see the costumes.
