Caught this tonight, not really knowing much about it, except that it is inspired by Yuval Harari's bestseller, 'Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind.'

This was exceptional and my favorite show since Yerma.

Runs about 85 minutes and for the first 20, I had no idea where we were going, but I was willing to go. Once it became evident what this was about, it was totally engrossing and flew by.

A professor goes on a Tinder date with a guy who turns out to be the grandson of Dr. Jacob Bronowski, a famous scientist, now deceased. The pair begin to unravel some disturbing secrets about Bronowski, dating back to World War II. We seamlessly follow the pair back and forth in time as the stories are woven together with total ease.

It's a riveting dissection of what it means to be human, what it means to make mistakes (even big ones) and how it all shapes where we've come from and where we're going.

It could have been a dry, heavy, incoherent mess, but it's told with a fluidity & ease that makes it as entertaining as it is deep.

The lighting, set & effects are very well done, and the entire cast is excellent.

Audience reaction was enthusiastic and it was sold out, tonight. If you're looking for something different, challenging and thought-provoking, this is really worth checking out.
