Seeing Wicked... any suggestions?

Friends are coming to NY to see Wicked, and they can't stay with me in Brooklyn because I'll be moving. Damn those WIcked tickets are $$$$$$$$, right? Anyway, can any nice people here recommend a decent hotel near the Gershwin?

Not looking for luxury or anything like that. Relatively affordable with no frills is good... but CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN is the key. Kids will be included. Just has to be safe and CLEAN.
