Hello -
I purchased 2 tickets for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child for Saturday, March 16th (both parts) as a gift for my sister. Unfortunately, do to a new medical diagnosis she is unable to go. I was hoping to find someone to take these tickets off of my hands. I would like to get the price I paid for them (tickets cost much more now), not trying to make any money.
Date: Saturday, March 16th
Times: Part 1 - 2:00pm, Part 2 - 7:30pm
Location: Lyric Theatre
Seats: Section - Balcony Right Seats 14 and 16 (two seats together)
Price: Ticketmaster is currently selling tickets in balcony for $170 per ticket per part. (total of $680). I am asking for $550.
Please let me know if you are interested. The money will be going back to my sister to help pay for her treatments.
Are these seats in row A or B? Otherwise, most, if not all, side balcony seats for 3/16 would have been sold at $20-40 per part.

I bought them directly from Ticketmaster who is the seller for this show. I cannot speak on the $20-$40 tickets as I have never been to the theatre (or any theatre, for that fact). All I know is that I purchased them for roughly $135 per ticket per part. If I remember correctly, the tickets are row E. I do not have them in front of me at the moment.
And that the cheapest available tickets for that date are $170 per ticket per part. ($680 total)
I appreciate your input, however.

The cheapest tickets for that day on StubHub are actually $250 per ticket for BOTH parts - after fees. These prices will likely go down a lot as that date gets closer.
I feel for you wanting to help pay for your sister's treatments, but you are much more likely to sell them at all if you can lower your price a bit. Unfortunately, Cursed Child tickets are extremely hard to sell at cost paid.
My input wasn't meant for your benefit, but for the person who might interested in buying, and the fact that you know the seat numbers, but not the row, doesn't instill confidence. In the absurd amount of time I've spent looking at HP tickets, I've never seen a side balcony seat in row C-H priced at $135 per part. If I'm wrong, and, in fact, you spent that much, it will probably be difficult to get the full amount back on here, since, as Kea4 noted, StubHub has comparable seats for less than you're asking. Generally, people on this board do their research.
If there is a medical issue, try seeing if Ticketmaster will give you a refund. Just go to your order details page for your tickets, and there should be a chat icon in the bottom of the browser. They are more likely to exchange them for a date in the future, though, if they can do anything, so I'd sort out when you're able to go again in the future in advance of chatting.

I dont care if it wasn't for my benefit. I still appreciate your thoughts. Would gladly post a screen shot of the ticket locations from the ticketmaster website, but this message board does not allow images (to my knowledge). If you know how to post images, please let me know and I will post it.
You can post images here, but not upload/host them here. Gotta put them somewhere else, then you can link to them.

Haterobics - thanks for that. My sister will likely never be able to walk again, so getting from our location to NYC and into a crowded theatre will be very difficult. But I will chat with TicketMaster and see if they have any ideas for us. Thanks for your help. Updated On: 2/12/19 at 04:17 PM
