My friend got me this ticket from her school so I'm not sure if it's possible for me to exchange it at the box office. Would that even work?

I called them and explained my situation and they said I would have to ask the school for the refund/exchange. According to my friend, the school is not accepting refund/exchange for tickets, but I'll also try to ask. Thanks!
