Sending Letters to Broadway Stars?
#0Sending Letters to Broadway Stars?
Posted: 4/1/05 at 12:09pmWhen sending a letter, what kind of self--addressed stamped envelope should I enclose for them to return a signed headshot in. Do I need to go to the post office and buy large photo envelopes? Just wondering. Thanks!

a normal brown envelope, like 9x11 with a good amount of postage on them will do.

what Penny said ... also including a bit of cardboard backing, to protect the photo when they send it, doesn't hurt either. The photo mailers are nice in that no extra backing necessary, but if you have a 9X11 and a 8x10 piece of cardboard backing (anything stiff enough to discourage it getting bent during delivery), that'll be just as good.
Not sure but places like Walgreen's or Target, etc. may sell photo mailers that are cheaper than the PO's.
