I dont think there is anything wrong with that. I remember sending a copy of the picture I took with Ann Harada to her and she sent me a nice headshot and note.
When the national tour of wicked was in chicago, I saw the show earlier in its run and took a picture with Jenna Leigh Green. I developed two copies and gave one back to jenna (with a letter on the back) when I saw the show again. She seemed very touched and I was glad I did it.

And the other thing about the Phantom Lady was, Bert, she realized, in the city that never sleeps...

Nothing, if you don't believe in them. But she did, you see. She believed in enchanted evenings, and she believed that a small cloud passed overhead and cried down on a flower bed, and she even believed there was breakfast to be had...
