I'm just curious to know how successful this method of autograph retrieval is and what have been your personal successes and or failures with sending your favorite star fanmail /and or autograph requests to the theatres in which they are performing. Have you had luck with some stars, but not with others? Do you believe that stars who do not sign at the stage door will be more apt. to sign through the mail if you send something directly to the theatre? In your experience, how long does it generally take to receive a response if it was a successful attempt? (I've heard from most that they don't receive a response until AFTER the show has ended because it is then that most stars find the time to answer their fanmail in BULK once the show has closed).
