Sending international fanmail

Has anyone who doesn't live in the states successfully gotten fanmail replies? If so, what did you do for the SASE? Did you buy US stamps or put in a few dollars USD? Thank you!

I am 1/3 with international fanmail. I did indeed send SASE, I had to go over the border to buy US stamps as they can be ridiculously hard to get ahold of. It is a lot of extra work, not going to lie, I'm jealous of my US friends
