I saw it at a community theater (with a girl cat and a girl jojo)
I LOVED it.
I'm seeing it at someplace in December of next year. :-P
ok.. but will it destroy my visions of Dr. Seus
It's a very fun show, with great music. Ahrens and Flaherty stuffed it with lots of Seuss characters and references. I'm sure it won't "destroy your visions" of Dr. Seuss.
Not at all. It's a great show with amazing music. On top of that, it is extremely true to Seuss's characters. You'll love it.
Two S's in Seuss AND Seussical.
And do a search before you show up and start posting crap like you did on the OT board. You'll see that we've discussed most of it all before.
Just a public service announcement. Not a cut-down.
I haven't heard mcuh but the BN.COM sample clips, but from what I've heard the show seems heartwarming, adorable and FUN!
Gertrude and Mayzie are the main female parts, but there's also the Mayor's Wife, Sour Kangaroo, and many other good roles.

If you read my post..
There are alternate scores with a female cat and a female JoJo
I think the cat is a lead role. What do you think
ok.. wats better.. Chorus Line, Fidler on the Roof, Cats or Seussical? those are the options ive herd.
I loved seussical when I saw it on tour. I saw it with Vathy Rigby as the Cat in thr Hat...so you can change it. I'm going to see it in the March for cappies.
Fiddler is the best out of that group
A Chorus Line, definitely. Are you kidding me? Cats. Pft.
