I have a callback tonight for the role of the cat in the hat, the script they gave me last night to read from is the amazing gertrude scene "tut tut said the doctor.."
it says that german, pig Latin, unintelligable gibberish or anything else thats funny can be used to say the line.
does anyone know what language is spoken on the cd? or if hes saying differant words or what?
it sounds like "tut tut thought the doctor the devilish way is too for good. the akline of fvedishvonse is kanow richting for your phobliard."
im pretty sure thats not it though. lol
It's usually done in a German accent, or some other unintelligible Eastern European sounding thing.
But maybe try something original: The part of the Cat requires great comedic and improvisational skills and coming up with something else shows them who have those.
Be creative and do what you want. Cathy Rigby did German/gibberish.
