Does anyone here know the status of the revival of The Shanghai Gesture? It's not listed in the Times and I haven't seen any print ads for it. I assume it's still happening -- am I wrong?

Posted: 4/29/09 at 1:16pmThe movie had to make some changes to get past the censors. Mother Goddam became Madame Gin Sling and the setting became an opium den instead of a bordello. Ona Munson played the Mother Goddam figure.
