Hi everyone,
I'm heading into NYC in a couple weeks to see shows and enter lotteries and I'm really excited! The one show I REALLY want to see is She Loves Me and am possibly willing to pay full price for a ticket in advance (I'm in college/waiting on my first summer paychecks, so big deal). I wanted to know if:
1. Who here has done the TodayTix lottery or general/student rush and has had success. I'd be going on a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday so I just want the best chance to get a ticket and watch Zachary Levi and Laura and Jane and Gavin.
2. Laura Benanti has a schedule for days she doesn't perform?

No guarantee that there will be seats available for the performance you want, but it might be worth joining HipTix to see if you can get a $25 ticket in advance. Not sure about the ticket situation (I got mine via Hiptix) but I believe Laura is set to perform in every performance from now until the end of the run unless an emergency pops up. She was pretty ill earlier this spring, but seems to not be missing any performances as of recently.

I saw the show Saturday afternoon, and while I loved it -- I found my seat "annoying" -- Front Mezzanine, left.
The problem is that the band is in the boxes left and right, and the sound really mixed poorly to my seat. (Last row of the Front Mezzanine, on the aisle).
If I had to do it over again, I would avoid that area.

A lady at the box office told me there sometimes weren't that many tickets on the lottery and A LOT of people enter ... after I complained about never winning :)
i was able to get general rush tickets ok but as said, there no guarantee.
I have sat front side orchestra & middle at the back of the orchestra & rear mezzanine (both left and right) & each time it was fine. I know people who've sat centre front mezzanine & they said it was great, so it seems like the only seats to avoid are front side mezzanine!

I got Hiptix for this Orch Row C on the side, and it was a great view, especially for $25

I got a student rush ticket for $72 in the front row 30 minutes before curtain for a Wednesday matinee. For anyone interested in going that route, they are extremely strict about IDs at Studio 54.

Mine was the front row of the orchestra. They'll sell you the best available seat they have for student rush but not until that 30 minute prior to curtain mark.

As long as you have no dates on it and look like your picture, you should be fine. What I meant is that every time I've done student rush there, they've asked for an ID; and each time, they've looked at it closely.
