I haven't been able to find any info on the following and I hoped you could help me out. Anyone know the release date of the sheet music to Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Spelling Bee, and Light In The Piazza?
these threads crop up every few days and always leave me wondering, what is it about the sheet music publication industry that leads to this complete lack of information. Publishers of every other type seem to set release dates for their works, so why should sheet music be any different? I understand that the editing process can be unpredictable, but they don't even give out ballpark figures. No one knows anything about it, and then one day it's on the shelf at Colony.
Does anyone work in this industry, and if so, can you please explain what this is so unpredictable?
