I saw this production last Sunday night and was absolutely blown away! Scott Bakula has the most amazing voice I have ever heard. All the actors who play his sons are incredible singes and dancers. The choreography is dazzling. Garett Long and Megan Lewis are stunning as well. Tht two children in the cast are outstanding. Jeff Calhoun (Who is director/co-choreographer of it and choreographer for Grey Garedns in NYC) has done an amazing job!I am going to see it again on April 20 and can't wait! This is a must see!!!

Saw this yesterday afternoon ($26 for 8th row center orchestra). I was kind of disappointed, especially after hearing so many good things about this production. This was my first exposure to this particular show, although I was already familiar with 2 of the songs. The cast was excellent, but for some reason, some things just didn't work for me. The two children playing Robert and Gabriel were excellent. The standout for me was Megan Lewis (Jenny). What a beautiful voice (and presence) she had. Although Scott Bakula was good, he was somewhat off-pitch during the endings of songs. Special mention to Rick Faugno (Nathan) who is an amazing dancer.

The one thing that really bothered me was when Sam carried Jenny over the threshhold (the tent), her brothers were trying to peak into the tent to see the proceedings going on. I wanted to say, "hello, that's your sister!!"

I couldn't figure out why each actor was miked, especially since the Ford's Theatre is on the small side.
