She doesn't. This is her one big screen credit. This great film also has Broadway greats Jane Krakowski, Veanne Cox, and Matt Morrison (among others), with music by Marc Shaiman.

I love that movie. So funny. Veanne Cox brings a little something special to everything she does. Anyone else ever find themselves flipping through the channels, see Erin Brockovich and watch it just to see her as the bitchy lawyers assistant? Love her!

Posted: 1/16/06 at 7:39pmI thought I was the only one who loved this movie. Good to know there are others who get Paul Rudnick's unique sense of humor. It's a real shame that the movie was chopped down to 84 minutes, with a bare bones DVD (no deleted scenes). Veanne Cox told me there were a lot of cuts, including one song number involving the three JAPs. Sadly, I doubt we'll ever see the missing parts.

Adam Fleming(Bare, Wicked) and Michael Seelbach were the other members of Boyz 'R Us.
Uhmm ... toootally the best part of the movie. I've got the power in MY purse, yo.

omg this movie is hysterical - i absolutely love it
Marci, a spoiled Jewish American Princess, is forced to take control of her father's hard-core rap label, Felony Assault, when her mogul dad, Ben Feld, has a stress-induced heart attack due to the controversy surrounding the label's hip-hop song Shoot Ya' Teacha by Dr. Snatchcatcher. To rescue her father's plummeting stock, Marci attempts to tone down the rapper's bad-boy edge. Over time, the unlikely pair fall in love just as a conservative senator vows to banish the rapper and his offensive lyrics from the airwaves forever.

But it isn't a musical...just clever casting.
Christine Baranski is JUST LOVE.
