Shifting Trends?

With the recent rash of musical announcements including Sister Act, First Wives Club, Mambo Kings, Wedding Singer, Tarzan, Color Purple, etc, does it seem like the era of jukebox musicals is finally ending with a new wave of movies-turned-musicals taking its place? In a way, I like the shift in the respect that original scores are coming back. Though now I wish we could start seeing some original stories to accompany these scores. So it seems to me like we've gone from old music/new stories to new music/old stories.

What are your thoughts on the shift?
