Over a dozen of Broadway and L.A.'s best singers will pay tribute to this Oscar winning icon.

Ms. Jones will be attending the show and accepting 88's 2009 ICON of Entertainment Award.

This show will benefit our 88's Uth mentoring scholarship program. Last year we gave away over 3K in scholarships. It's gonna be a great night of music celebrating Shirley Jones' amazing career.

As you probably already know....
Shirley Jones started at 17 on Broadway in South Pacific and after in Me & Juliet. She was soon starring in the 20th Century Fox films Oklahoma & Carousel. She went on to do the film Music Man and won an Academy Award for her role in Elmer Gantry. She also appeared in the films April Love and many others. She was the title character on B'way in Maggie Flynn the musical and played opposite her son Patrick in 42nd Street on B'way. Other musicals she's been in are Sound Of Music, Showboat, On A Clear Day You Can See Forever, The Beggars Opera, Bittersweet and many others. She also starred in the huge t.v. hit The Partridge Family with her stepson David Cassidy. With her husband Broadway star Jack Cassidy they had three children Shaun, Patrick and Ryan.
