Should all the lame April Fools postings be removed now ?

I think that they should be removed now so that they do not cause confusion (followed seconds later by annoyance) for weeks to come....

Aren't all April Fools Day jokes supposed to be over by noon anyway? After that time they say the joke is on joker, and he is the fool.

Not really... People will continue to read the messages and add to them complaining that they are old April Fools messages. It is not like Talkinbroadway where things just disappear off naturally.. when people post to topics here they go back to the top of the message list...

Do people really put much credibility in what they read on a message board? If so, then they are truly a fool.

Also since we all don't posted by Greenwich mean time, who's noon would be used?

It is not that they put credance is the storys once they have read them but for example the "show is closing" and "show is opening" threads people might carry on momentarily getting upset or or exciting people for weeks to come !!!!
