Show Lottery info?

Hey everyone! This is a question about the lottery for shows. I'm going to NYC this weekend to see my first Broadway show and I also want to see another one and I heard about the lottery that you can enter. What are the odds of winning the tickets for oh.. let's say, Spamalot?

Spamalot does not have a ticket lottery. You can buy standing room tickets for Spamalot for $21.25 when the box office opens. You would usually need to get in line early for those tickets, but I think the rush has died down so if you get there when the box office opens at 10 A.M. I am sure you can get standing room tickets. By the way, standing room tickets allow you to stand at the back of the orchestra, in a designated spot. The view is fine and wont detract from the show at all.
