Lots of closures this weekend: on Broadway the final performances of The Cher Show, King Kong, and Pretty Woman: The Musical; and Off Broadway, Puffs: Or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic. Anyone going to the last curtain calls?

I’m still surprised ‘Pretty Woman’ didn’t get a longer run. I thought it would make it through the end of the year holiday season as a draw for tourists.
Pretty Woman: The Musical would have played for just over a year at the Nederlander Theatre, so it had a decent enough run? The Cher Show officially opened on December 3, 2018, and King Kong on November 8, 2018, so again decent runs time-wise.
Not sure how they will have done financially, or whether any of them recouped.
I would have liked to have seen King Kong, but opted for seeing a museum and then Beetlejuice on my birthday instead with my limited time back in July.
Had planned on going back in October, but that’s now cancelled.
