Titanic had much to recommend it - a great theme, a beautiful score, a terrific performance from Vicky Clark among them.

For me the big problem with the show is that the first act ends with the iceberg. After that, there really was no where to go but down, which is where it all went.

It isn't the choice to utilize a narrator for JRB that I nec. object to it; it was the bland way the narration was composed and delivered in the context of the show.

I know this is an unpopular opinion but I think Spring Awakening is just not a good show. I can see why 13 year olds connect to the material but I love going to theatre and had a hard time making it through the second act of SA. The cast recording on the other hand, is wonderful.
