Shrek Cast Question

Does anyone know if Daniel Breaker played his final performance on Sunday? If he did, does anyone know who is replacing him?
#2

re: Shrek Cast Question

Some details would be appreciated as to WHY he left...

re: Shrek Cast Question

I thought his contract was just up and he decided not to renew, but there could be more.

re: Shrek Cast Question

I'm sure his replacement would have been announced with Brian's if he was leaving.

Johnny T. is still coming back in December, right?

re: Shrek Cast Question

He's returning in like mid-December to play like 3 weeks of Pinocchio before it closes.

re: Shrek Cast Question

I have a question. Which cast members left on November 1st?

re: Shrek Cast Question

Just in case anyone was wondering, no leads left on the 1st. Daniel Breaker, Sutton Foster, Chris Sieber, and Brian D'Arcy James were all still in the show as of last night. But Brian is leaving this Sunday, so if you want to see him, you better hurry! re: Shrek Cast Question

And I really enjoyed the show! Of course, it's no Gypsy or even Billy Elliot Billy Elliot, but such a fun time! And I loved all of the theatre references! Sometimes I felt as if I was the only one laughing though, haha. And there was surprisingly a packed house. I didnt see more than 5 seats empty in the whole mezzanine!

Im glad you had a good time Wicked!

Does anyone know the final cast (of the leads?) And just curious how is the view from the first row of the mezzanine? Its a dead center seat and I know the theaters small so im hoping its good.

re: Shrek Cast Question

I was mid center rear mezz, and I could see everything just fine. The theatre wasn't as large as I expected, and its a pretty big show. Those seats will be GREAT! re: Shrek Cast Question

re: Shrek Cast Question

Ahh I'm going on Sunday!
So excited!

But saveusmike, you have fantastic seats even though it is far from a small house. Massive, actually...

re: Shrek Cast Question

saveusmike, the Broadway is massive, but front row mezz is perfect for this show! I sat 2nd row mezz the first time I went and it was a great seat.

I'm rushing on Sunday for the matinee...I'm really excited!

re: Shrek Cast Question

Is Maia Nkenge Wilson in the cast?

re: Shrek Cast Question

Yes she is! She plays Mama Bear, a Dragonette, and the plump woman that runs away from Shrek a few times. re: Shrek Cast Question

re: Shrek Cast Question

The rest of the leading cast is with the show until closing, including John Tartaglia who returns on December 18th.

re: Shrek Cast Question

I know wikipedia is not a reliable source, but they have it listed that Jonathan Aronoff is Lord Farquaad. Does anyone know if this is true?
#17

re: Shrek Cast Question

No, I'm pretty sure Christopher Sieber is still in it.
#18

re: Shrek Cast Question

Where are these ideas coming from? Sieber is in the show. I saw him saturday.
#19

re: Shrek Cast Question

Ok, I thought he was, but you never know. Something could have came up.

re: Shrek Cast Question

I know Sean McCourt had been through many auditions to replace Chris Sieber as Farquaad, but now that the show's closing, I highly doubt they will replace him now.
