Has anyone tried to get rush tickets for Shrek lately? How early do people start lining up? I'm planning to go next Wednesday and I want to know when a good time to get there would be.

Posted: 7/10/09 at 10:48pmI've gotten Shrek tickets about 45 minutes before performance time on a Saturday night and there wasn't a problem. Just be aware that they're pretty strict about IDs..it's one per ID and I'm pretty sure it's only college/university students.

I walked up to the window 20 minutes before a Sunday matinee back in March and was given a seat in the 9th row of the center orchestra. Granted, the theater was somewhat empty, and it might be more crowded since it's the summer, but you should be still able to get it.
Just know that the rush tix are $35 and not $25.
