I feel for the cast. Five shows in three days can get pretty grueling after a while.

I would have thought over Summer (June) that would have been the time to keep the Sunday performances on and not yanking them off.

its the beginning of the end.
This is like legally bland doing the MTV thing and the reality show.
People so not like shrek. It will not win very many if any tony's and families are NOT GOING TO THEATER>
let it go dreamworks.

Their getting rid of a possibly low-turnout performance (Wednesday night) and replacing it with a more tourist-friendly performance (Sunday night). Makes sense to me. Though it does seem like the producers are grabbing at straws.

From what I've heard from friends, weekend performances are basically selling out still, as opposed to meh weeknight performances, so seems like a good idea to me. Glad to see the show was in a bit of an uptick this week, I actually really enjoyed the show and hope it has a decent run.

It always amazes me that a Wed matinee would sell better than a Wed evening. I mean, who goes to a show on a Wed matinee? Aren't most people working, and children in school? And tourists are usually on the weekends, right?

Children in school go to Wed. matinees for field trips.

And old ladies.

Oh good points. Thanks. I wish I could go to a matinee. I thought the Wicked lotto would be slightly less crowded on a Wed matinee, not true ha.

Wednesday matinees are full of school trips and "theater parties" (old ladies that come in on buses for the day).
