I almost died laughing. Then I thought about it. Shrek the Musical hasn't found a lyricist or composer. Maybe I should apply for lyrics? When my friend said that, I laughed. I mean, I'm not even popular... They would want someone like Tim Rice or Elton John. But, then again, I thought, (half-drunk off my face), it would be good for me. My musicals are very in the style of the movie version of Shrek. They're romantic and funny, and eccentric and weird. That's why I thought, in that moment, I should give it a go. Should I at least try? Would DreamWorks listen to me? Should I write the lyrics for SHREK THE MUSICAL?
I think that SHREK THE MUSICAL is an idea that should be put on hold FOREVER.

You might want to try writing them when you're sober, though. :)
nothing ventured, nothing gained. good luck
Bigger surprises have happened. You can see I will not be writing them.
Shrek, he's a wreck. Needs a wife, will change his life.
Lives near a swap, in a beat up home.
Has a companion who's a donkey, together they'll roam.
Nessa, uh, Nessa, I have something to confess a (whoops)sorry not my bad lyrics.

Musical seems ridiculous
Sorry, but this sounds like a really dumb show. I didn't really like the movie that much and I'm sure I would not be interested in a musical version of it...
