Shrek: Lotto vs. Student Rush

So, I've heard that the front row lotto seats suck (ie. you end up only seeing from the waist up and miss most of the stuff happening further back on stage) but I haven't really heard much about the student rush seats. Where are they located? Are there seats specifically set aside for student rush or is it whatever's left? I definitely want to see Shrek so the only decision is if I should lotto or rush.

I decided to do rush when I saw it on a Friday night back in March. They gave us Rear Mezz on the side, but we were able to move down to front row of rear mezz (which turns out to be like the 7th row or so of the mezz) before the show even started.
