And then you have people like me who ONLY say things like "I'm going to the Shubert, I'm going to the Cort, I'm going to the Ambassador"

Posted: 10/8/04 at 12:56pmIf I recall correctly, years ago they wanted to change the 46th Street Theatre to The (Ethel) Merman Theatre but she balked at the idea because of the theatre's then tenant "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas". It was later named the Richard Rodgers Theatre.
