hey

ive just booked tickets for spamalot when i come to new york in november (im from london) and the only seats i could get for my whole stay were orchestra G19 and 21 (which are next to eachother). these are considered as partial viewing. How bad are these seats? it says i will miss a lot of action on one side.

thanks

matt

Most of the action in the show is center stage, but with the set design you might have trouble seeing some of the French Taunter scene and Tim the Enchanter but that should be about it, those tix are much better then seats in the last three rows of the mezzanine where you would miss three scenes completely

But the work waits! I'm alive at last, and I'm full of joy!!!

I sat in the last row of the theater(balcony) at Spamalot and could see pretty well. Are you saying the rear mezz seats are worse than the rear balcony? Just curious.

Yes the seats in the last three rows of the mezz to the sides have a blocked view of three scenes so I would definitely opt for the balcony for something that far back in the mezz.

It's true about the rear mezz thing....I have worked as an usher at Spamalot and have paid to see the show as well....I sat int he bxoes, did SRO, and saw teh show from rear balcony and rear mezz. Rear mezz is by afr the most obstructed view followed by box seats. I hate to scare you, but from my view in mezz and balcony....the extreme sides do require you to miss a large chunk of the stage.
