I'm interested in buying a ticket to see Spamalot from the balcony, but am worried about the few poles that can potentially obstruct my view. I found a seat in ROW A of the balc, close to the center but on the side section and was wondering if the poles are in front of ROW A or behind ROW A .. I ask because when I saw Boeing Boeing, I sat in Row B of the balc, and there was a pole right beside me that didnt obstruct my view, but noticed that it began at ROW B and not right in front of the balcony at ROW A. I'm curious to see if the Shubert has a similar design.

The poles are behind row a. I sat in row d of the balcony and was right next to the pole.

I sat in row A of the balcony, and the view was fine. It's surprisingly not that high. The poles are only on the sides a few rows back, so definitely try to avoid that
