How is row J in the balcony at the Shubert theater. I want to see Matilda on my own time But I'm on a budget and I saw those were very cheap prices for tickets.

it's defiantly high up with lots of stairs to climb but its not a bad view for Matilda I sat in row G and was very pleased!

I've sat in the last row of all 3 sides of the balcony for Matilda and the view is great!

Its better to sit in the balcony than the back of the mezz or orch. The overhang ruins the effect of the set. So yes- good choice.
