Calling all Raul and Taboo fans,

It's a crime Raul didn't win for best featured actor in a Broadway musical for his amazing performance in Taboo. He really gave an incredible performance and Philip was a great character for him to play.

I'm trying to get Taboo on Broadway released onto DVD because I am a fan of the musical as well as a fan of Raul. Check out the petition, sign it and spread the word about to your friends. If you don't know much about Taboo, there's a description of the story included along with some of the positive reviews it received.

Raul is a huge talent and is going to become a huge star someday; I just know it. He was hilarious in Taboo and was one of the most loved characters.

Radiogal, did you check to see if the show was taped already? Because if there wasn't a multi camera profesional shoot, you have a better chance of Julie Andrews starring in ROCKY HORROR than getting the entire cast and crew to get back together to film this.

Well, I heard Taboo was recorded in its entirety. God I hope this is true, but I believe this is true. I heard from some of the Taboo fans out there, they witnessed some of the video recording sessions going on during some of the performances. Also, there is a strong rumor that the show was captured on video.

radiogal, Lincoln Center doesn't have Taboo listed in their archives, so that rumor may not be any more than a rumor. Much as I would love for Taboo to be put on DVD, it would never happen.

Your friend who saw them taping saw video taping for the Press Reels that run 21 minutes long. Only those portions were taped for media purposes only.

Wasn't footage filmed for a Doucmentary on the making of Taboo? I believe the Documentary is a reality and there have already been invited screenings of it. But as for the entire show having been filmed... I don't know. Although Rosie certainly has enough money to have made it happen.
