Is there any significance to the spelling of Eric Bogosian's masterful play: SubUrbia?
I've always wondered...

Well, yes. It take the word "suburbia" usually meaning a subset of a large city, and transforms it into a sort of play on words. It uses the prefix "sub" not to mean a location outside the city, but in a sense that it means "below". Below Urbia. Urbia meaning the city. The characters in the play are, well, lazy slobs- below the rest. I hope I made some sense.
