If one BWW poster could replace Simon, who would you nominate ?
I am mulling it over & will eventually come up with a name ?
Who do you think it should be ?

I would pick you, Mr. Roxy. But the editor said they want to go in a "different direction," so I'm afraid that wouldn't work out.

MusicMan -- easily the "Simon-esque" poster on the site.

I've always been partial to robbiej's insightful reviews.

Yes, but Robbie is not a close-minded, misogynist, racist homophobe.
Margo always seemed fair minded although I disagreed on occasion. I therefore nominate Margo

Which is why I would have gone with Roxy if they wanted more of the same, Margo.

Yes, Namo. I'm afraid I lack the requisite bitterness and long-standing hatred of women, gays, and people of color to be an effective "John Simon replacement." I'll leave that title to others here who more easily and comfortably fit into that mold.

LuvEmcee... He/She would make a great Simon replacement
Heyyy, I've got to be one of the gentlest ones around!
Great. We need a few kind hearted critics. Wait, isn't than an oxymoron ?
Just you wait...

Em as Simon??? She is a Paula (and apparently having had an affair with an estranged Tony person)
::throws things at... I don't know what::
Obviously, I hold grudges.
eeevil nominations. eeevil.
Paula's kind of fickle, though. Or just silly... which... I can be.
No, I don't really have a point.
OK, please fill me in. John Simon is the theatre critic for New York magazine, right? Has he left or been fired?
Been "let go." Sounds like fired, to me.
