Posted: 11/29/04 at 5:14pmHey!!!! I need a simple 1-2 minute monologue for my drama I midterm. Like I said earlier im a 16 year old female and it would be nice if it was from a fairly well known play if at all possible...if you have any ideas could you please post the monologue here?? THANKS!!!!

Posted: 11/29/04 at 7:29pmEmily's monologue at the end of OUR TOWN by Thornton Wilder - her last speech in Act 3. Any decent library will have a copy of this play - possibly in a voiume called "Three Plays by Thprntopn Wilder" that also included "The Skin of Our Teeth" and "The Matchmaker". It's probably also available at Border's or Barnes & Noble in paperback.

Posted: 11/29/04 at 7:36pmrose's first monologue (about the cranes) from the woolgatherer we are doing it for our one act at thespian districts this year. it is an AWESOME piece.

Posted: 11/29/04 at 9:30pm"Saint Joan" is a wonderful monologue that Joan of Arc says during one of her hearings. It is nice and short, simple, yet full of emotion and acting!
