Hola board. This will sound like shill-a-rama but I don't care. I've been here long enough for people to know I'm not going to disappear after this post.
Anyway, wanted to bring a show to you attention. It's a new, original show called Simply Heavenly and it closed recently in the West End after a successful run (I think). There is an OLC available on amazon.co.uk and it's some lovely music in a kind of jazz, blues style. My musical vocabulary has abandoned me so forgive me if I don't describe it very well. I thought all you cast recording collectors would appreciate it, if no one else.
Actually, it is a revised version of the Broadway musical of the same title that flopped after two months in 1957.
Is it? Oh fiddlesticks. Wrong again. Well, it's still lovely so I still advise checking out the CD.
