Singer/Pianist Michael Garin at Ferro's Tonight! Thursday, September 14

A little birdy told me that Michael Garin is playing tonight in a new place with dinner & music. Ferro's [212-888-1220] opened last night. The menue is Italian & it's located at 145 E. 50th btwn Lex & 3rd, next to the Kimberly Hotel.

Michael's there 10-2 tonight, & if the creek don't rise, he'll be there in the future....to be determined.

Michael is a human jukebox; can play in any style, in any genre. From Jobim to Ray Charles. From Parlez Moi d'Amour to the latest Broadway hits. As the age range, or country of origin of the room changes, so does the music. Each time I hear him, I'm bowled over by this performer, and am happily reminded that he was on the creative team of & starred in the hit Off-Broadway show "Song of Singapore". Michael won both the Drama Desk & the Outer Critics Circle awards for Song of Singapore, as well as the 2000 Bistro Award for Pianist/Entertainer.
