I'm going to see Sister Act and was wondering if Carolee, Marla, Sarah and Raven come out for matinees? If so, are they willing to sign autographs and take pictures?

Hi! I saw the evening show of Sister Act on 7/18/12. I went to the stage door and unfortunately Sarah Bolt, Marla Mindelle, and some others just walked out the other way because they assumed everyone was there for Raven. When I was there the John Treacy Egan, Carolee Carmello and Kingsley Leggs came down the line and signed. Then Raven came out and signed and took pictures. It's a very organized stagedoor unlike How to Succeed was. Try and leave after everyone has bowed and they start to sing the little encore thing. I did that and was the third person in line. Not sure if Raven comes out after matinees. I have seen it a couple of times, but evenings are definitely your best shot. Have fun!
I went on a Sunday show. Raven was out that night, so Kimberly was on. Only Marla came by the stage door within the first 30 minutes. Several people including Kimblerly, Sarah Bolt, and Chester Gregory came out the door and walked the other way. I had to leave after 30, but LOADS of the cast just left and walked the other way. But I have heard that when Raven does come out, it's good, and she does autographs and signs, so good luck! :)
I went on 7/11. It was pretty organized. I sat mid/rear right orchestra on the aisle and was able to leave right at the end and go out to the lobby and out the doors on the right that drop you on 53rd. I got to the barricades and had a spot not so far back, but as people rearranged (and a few left) I was in the second row of people back.
I was just about the only person interested in seeing people other than Raven. I easily got Carolee, Sarah Bolt, John Treacy Egan, Kingsley Leggs, Chelsea Morgan Stock, and a couple other people.
I had really wanted to see Audrie Neenan but was told from another cast member that she leaves really fast, so I probably missed her. My friend thinks she left at the same time as a few other people and we just missed her by a second.
For Raven, they were pretty organized. The idea is to have her stand in a spot and have a formed line progress up to her. They didn't set this line early enough so it was kind of a stampede in my direction for the first bit, but they got it organized and eventually it worked out. She was very sweet about taking pictures (but make sure to tell people to have them ready). She would ask if anyone was taking a picture with her, sign, make eye contact, etc. I commented to her how I was a fan of her on the Cosby Show and she was kind, welcoming, gracious. Raven was very nice with the little girls and tweens who love(d) her on her Disney show and such, but was at least once a bit firm with crazy moms. A mom literally just shoved her kids toward Raven, and they ran into me and a couple other people. The mom was very spastic about picture-taking and all and Raven looked her right in the eye, raised her eyebrows, and said "calm down" while making a calming hand motion. The mom was a bit more tame after that, and she was no less warm with the girls. Since I stayed to have many other cast members sign, I was walking away at about the same time she was done. I said "goodnight" to her and others in her entourage, and while they were stone-faced, she smiled and answered "goodnight!" She seems to be such a nice class act with her fans.

I definitely agree with people in saying I don't think the cast realizes people are waiting to see them; they assume people are waiting only for Raven. I have seen the show three times since Raven joined the cast (and 5 times prior) and she does not come out after the matinee's on Wednesday or Saturday. I was there Wednesday night (7/1
as well--I stuck around by the barricade next to the door while everyone else crowded Raven down a little further and was able to get Audrie Neenan, Alena Watters and Ernie Pruneda (who was understuding for the role of Pablo). I noticed Sarah, Marla, Chester and basically the rest of the cast just slide out the other way, which was upsetting. I also have to say, while it is organized, I thought Raven was somewhat rude. From what I saw, she didn't take the time to greet anyone, she either said "is the camera ready?" or she sort of just waved her hand for people to come over & snap a photo with her. There were alot of people waiting though, so I give her credit for sticking around, I just thought she was a bit of a diva, but i guess i expected that anyway.

Well I went when Patina was still there about a year ago! And I got my program signed by everyone including Marla, Sarah, Patina, Kingsley, and of course the awesome Chester. I don't know why they have stopped really stagedooring
Good to hear about Raven.

gstrus2: Sorry to hear Raven was out. I'm sure Kimberly did a great job. Also that's a shame with the stagedoor. I don't know why they just assume no one wants to meet them. I was disappointed the other night when that happened. It's probably good Raven took off on Sunday. She sounded fine on Wednesday, but I think she cracked during Raise Your Voice and she went down on a couple of notes instead of trying to hit them. Other than that, it was a great performance.

I went yesterday and when we got to the stage door the guard told us that Raven only comes out for the night performances so he told us to come back later after the 8:00 show. None of the principles came out....Sarah came out and walked right on by but someone called her name and she came back and signed for 5 minutes. Raven comes out at night and is nice enough to take a picture with every single fan at the door and signs for everyone. She is very quick snap-snap.

^Raven was very nice and I appreciated she took the time to meet her fans even if she just went down the line and took pictures! The other shows with celebs in them (How to Succeed, Evita) had insane stagedoors.
