According to the Six Instagram, theyre doing a tour of 12 drive-ins across the UK! It seems like a really cool concept. Would it work in the US? I know Yankee Stadium is using their parking lots for drive-in events, and theres also a drive-in in Greenpoint with a view of the skyline.

Amazing idea. Actors Equity will never allow this to happen in the US.

I can’t see why Equity wouldn’t be okay with an outdoor, socially distanced production with only 6 actors who could literally perform the show standing at their own mics (as they have done sometimes in emergency situations when there are no swings available).

I sincerely hope they're at least trying to look into doing this here.. you've got both the Broadway and NCL casts..they could tour the U.S. and Canada and do the drive ins.. it would employ some people at least! And if Equity has an issue they can figure out a way to put income in the pockets of those casts.

Except this isn’t a tour-this is (I believe) a set location that people drive to? We can’t  have everything right now.
