YAY! I was just wondering when Emily would be back on Broadway and now I will get to see her live! To add to the excitement, it will be their first stop!

I am so excited about Em being back in a show.. I am really suprised that it's in a traveling show, though.. Don't get me wrong, I am very glad that she's going to be in a show.. But I wonder what brought the change from staying put in New York.. The last I heard she finished Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at the Kennedy Center..

She hasn't stayed put in NY for a long time now. (And she was fabulous in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof re: Skinner and Sutherland Likely for Disney's On the Record.) This isn't definite, folks, they're in final talks...

If she does it, I think I'm going to go see it in Chicago if I'm not doing anything at the time. It would be a nice excuse to go to Chicago. :)

If Emily is in it, I will actually sit through the Disney fest. The National Theater website indicates it is coming to DC.

I really didn't want to see this. (It's one of the reasons I didn't subscribe to my local Broadway series.) But now I have to!

Love her!

One question: Where's Alice?

They should rewrite it to make her character a Siamese twin. Then I would be really psyched!

I was on the fence on this one as well but I love Skinner (and Sutherland can be charming) so I am glad it is on the National's schedule.

Skinner was impressive in CAT ON A HIT TIN ROOF. She played Mae as a real person instead of a cartoon and still got some big laughs.

I'd see her in anything. And I'm glad she works in DC a lot.

Man, I was hoping it was Donald Sutherland.
