Actually, the sign in the lobby stated it wasnt recommended for children under the age of 8. First thing that we noticed was the huge number of children present under the age of 5 !!!
Well, luckily they were there, so you could hear some laughter !
I read of number of out-of-town reviews for this show prior to purchasing our tix (which, luckily were bought thru TDF !!)
All of them seemed to imply that the show was geared more towards adults. Well, that is REALLY not the case !! No doubt, these performers are talented (and I usually love mime), but the skits, for the most part, were very childish, and boring. The best part was during the intermission (wont give anything away, in case anyone plans on going to see the show)
I have seen far better productions of this type at the New Victory theater, and paid $6-$8 !!! (Anyone ever see "Shockheaded Peter" ??)
If you have kids, or can round some up... take them.. they will love it !! Adults... stay away (or get a good discount !!)
Thanks for the advice Testing. I was wondering about this show. I hate clowns (not crazy about kids either), but thought it might be fun. After reading your post I'll definitely be steering clear of this one.
