Slouchos in Evita

What is the significance of the term "Sloucho" in the Evita dance ensemble? I know the two guys in white who frame Eva in Larry Fuller's original Buenos Aires choreography are called "slouchos," but I don't know if it's just a made-up term for how they move (like slouching gauchos) or if it has some other connotation. Anyone have any info for me?

Thanks in advance.

I had the same question after seeing the tour, so I asked one of the cast members and he said it was just a term that Larry Fuller made up to describe the character.

Dean: Can I tell you something? Lorraine: That depends on what it is. Dean: I think you're really really pretty. Lorraine: (after a pause) Ok, you can tell me that.

It was made up by Larry and Hal Prince, it stands for/is a combination of the words sleazy and goucho. They were originally going to be just gouchos but apparently they decided to make them the two sort-of seedy men who try to pick up any new girl(Eva) in town (i.e. buenos Aires)
