I am looking for a small group musical number to do for competition. Got any ideas? :)

Will it be just a stand-and-sing vocal performance, or will acting be involved?

the number is to be performed as it was on stage-acting -blocking -dancing whatever involved!

Depends what kind of thing you really want to do, plus I don't know if you're mixed sex or not. All the suggestions I've got are for male and female voices.
Doors, from Closer Than Ever (5 voices I think?)
I Sing, from I Sing (4 voices)
Quartet (A Model of Decorum and Tranquility) from Chess (4 voices)
I Love You Because from I Love You Because (4 voices, focuses on 2 of them)
Four Jews in a Room Bitching from Falsettos (4 voices, cut the verse with character names and you can do this mixed sex like they did in Make Me A Song)
The Gun Song, from Assassins (4 voices, tricky close harmony bit)
The Tonight Quintet, from West Side Story (5 voices, may not make much sense out of context and strictly speaking it's for the whole cast but there's only 5 singing parts and it might be an excuse for some dancing?)
You're mostly going to be looking at cabaret-style revues and off Broadway with a dash of Sondheim if you want to use 4-6 people. Pretty much anything above a duet in musical theatre is an ensemble number which isn't going to help.

that's my fault! i should have been more specific! 2 females 2 males.
Any of the 4-cast numbers from Songs For A New World.
