Posted: 11/27/06 at 3:10pmThere are those tiny parts in shows that can and have been utilized in order to evoke A LOT of emotion. It is surprising how amazing actors can make the most of little parts. In a production I saw of Passion, when the one solo long Mistress entered, everything about her was perfect. The distraught, dissheveled, despair that she carried was brilliance and I was really effected. Mistress in Passion? Not a large part at all, but this girl really winded me! What are some small parts in shows that you have witnessed and caused you great sadness/joy, etc?
...What happened next, was stranger still, a woman breathless and afraid, appeared out of the night, completely dressed in white. She had a secret she would tell, of one who had mistreated her. Her face and frightened gaze, my mind cannot erase...But then she ran from view. She looked so much like you...
