This is at the top of my Broadway wish list.
We are excited because we haven't seen an original Broadway musical that was actually GOOD in years.

Can we say "Tony Award for Best Musical 2006"? I think we can!
I was at the first preview in LA and immediately posted its hilarious greatness, so I win. Actually, the great thing about the show is that it really has a huge, fat heart at the center of all the show biz funniness. You can tell the creators REALLY REALLY love musical theatre and weren't just hired to make something they thought would sell tickets.
I did meet a few people online who didn't like it, but that's to be expected. It's impossible for a show to be universally liked. I will say this, though. Few shows really aim their arrows right at the heart of those who love and follow musical theatre. Too often they're watered down for the tourists. This one is for US.

Wasn't Avenue Q original which I love btw. I guess what I saw in the preview just didn't strike me as great musical numbers which is everything ina musical IMO
